Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Azam Chong started the match with the kick off. Hamir Teo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Zafran Ching when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Zafran Ching successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zak Hee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Khairil Lee made a precise shot to the right of Nicholas Phua. Fakenham's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicholas Tan during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes Stannington AFC got a freekick which was hit by Nicholas Tan. If Hamir Teo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Shahron Dhanabalan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Khairil Lee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Hamir Teo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fakenham's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamir Teo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zafran Ching breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 45 minutes into the match, Stannington AFC's goalkeeper Zafran Ching had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamir Teo.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Shahron Dhanabalan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hidayat Siang charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hidayat Siang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fakenham getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Hidayat Siang hit a great ball. Nicholas Phua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shahron Dhanabalan in the 54th minute of play. If Shahron Dhanabalan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Khairil Lee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Azam Chong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 played minutes Stannington AFC got a freekick which was hit by Zak Hee. Hamir Teo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zafran Ching having to interfere. Zafran Ching made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azam Chong in the 88th minute of play. Khairil Lee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Shahron Dhanabalan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fakenham's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
