In the 16th minute of the game, Merlin Nair landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Hidayat Lee fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Radin Mas AFC's protests and gave Hidayat Lee a yellow card for diving instead. Hidayat Lee kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Hidayat Lee's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ang Abisheganaden was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hamir Wah in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ang Abisheganaden saved Mill Hill from getting behind. Hidayat Lee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ang Abisheganaden having to interfere. If Hamir Wah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Radin Mas AFC booed when Mill Hill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afiz Wah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mill Hill's Ang Abisheganaden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hidayat Lee in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute Hamir Wah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ang Abisheganaden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ang Abisheganaden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamir Wah in the 41st minute of play. Hamir Wah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Ang Abisheganaden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Khai Sim made the kick off in the second half. Ang Abisheganaden was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rudy Yeo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hidayat Lee in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ang Abisheganaden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hamir Wah in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ang Abisheganaden, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ang Abisheganaden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hidayat Lee, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the game, Hidayat Lee lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Ang Abisheganaden.
