The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hamir Shiong was the one to do the kick off. Sajeev Rajah might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arif Lim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sajeev Rajah ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 53rd match minute, Mirfield United fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jithu Henderson to maneuver through the defense. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Mujahid Chandran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mirfield United fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Mujahid Chandran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arif Lim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute of the match Mirfield United fc got a corner. Spang FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mujahid Chandran ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Hamir Shiong managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Hamir Shiong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
