The audience was convinced that Shah Chian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jithu Choy was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Shah Chian's late challenge caught a Blackpool's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Mujahid Lee put in a rough tackle. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Shah Chian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Blackpool's Ali Teo got a free kick in the 51st minute. Afiz Pieng might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jithu Choy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afiz Pieng ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Blackpool getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Amir Ee hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Hamir Chai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. John Ching fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 65th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. In the 67th minute, Jonathan Devan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Blackpool's goal looked a bit too open when Shah Chian came free, but Jithu Choy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blackpool's Felix Choy was substituted for Fabricio Gaufred. After having played for 79 minutes, Felix Choy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blackpool's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Choy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Felix Choy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, Blackpool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamir Chai to maneuver through the defense. Felix Choy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Choy in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Khai Lee prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hamir Chai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khai Lee having to interfere.
