Spectators: 10000 (Terracing: 7500, Seating: 2300, VIP seats: 200) Victor Chan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serkan Onatsu in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afiz Teo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, SKARF's Shafiq Yip got a free kick in the 5th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Redbourn AFC's Victor Chan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albert Seng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When SKARF's Serkan Onatsu in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Redbourn AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Serkan Onatsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Afiz Teo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Soon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Victor Chan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Redbourn AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Chan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Seng breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Afiz Teo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serkan Onatsu's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 25th match minute, SKARF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shafiq Yip to maneuver through the defense. After 25 played minutes, Redbourn AFC's Jonathan Soon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Albert Seng came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Redbourn AFC reached it. Asiz Koh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afiz Teo having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, SKARF's goalkeeper Albert Seng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Chan. In the 32nd minute of the match SKARF got a corner. Redbourn AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wong Braddell ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on SKARF's corner Serkan Onatsu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Afiz Teo quite easily take care of the ball. When SKARF's Serkan Onatsu in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Redbourn AFC's goalie prevented a goal. If Asiz Koh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Chan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 played minutes Redbourn AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Soon. After a rather tough play, SKARF's Serkan Onatsu got a free kick in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serkan Onatsu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albert Seng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Chan, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 56 played minutes Redbourn AFC got a freekick which was hit by Farhan Ching. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serkan Onatsu in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afiz Teo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Afiz Teo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serkan Onatsu in the 59th minute of play. SKARF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wong Braddell in the 61st minute. If Alex Chew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SKARF's Bakar Abdul was substituted for Wong Braddell. SKARF made a substitution. Dale Pillai replaced Wong Soon. 65 minutes into the game, Asiz Koh recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Afiz Teo. Asiz Koh showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Afiz Teo made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Asiz Koh sent off a good shot on target. Afiz Teo was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Asiz Koh capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Asiz Koh really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Alex Chew might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afiz Teo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alex Chew ran back to his position shaking his head. SKARF's Serkan Onatsu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 73rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Asiz Koh got free with Afiz Teo in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Redbourn AFC's zone, Serkan Onatsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afiz Teo came out of the goal and Serkan Onatsu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Redbourn AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Shafiq Yip was slow to take the kick. During this time SKARF's players had a chance to rest. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Chan in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albert Seng saved SKARF from getting behind. 94 minutes into the match, Redbourn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Chew came free, but Afiz Teo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The SKARF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SKARF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
