The shot was stopped by Boy Budikusuma but with some difficulty. Andi Akmal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fery Oktavianus in the 14th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tono Sugendo got free with Boy Budikusuma in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yahya Reza in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andi Akmal saved PSP Gasings from getting behind. Boy Budikusuma made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Rochy Mulia sent off a good shot on target. Boy Budikusuma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruslan Hans, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, PSP Gasings's goal looked a bit too open when Yahya Reza came free, but Andi Akmal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Tono Sugendo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Yahya Reza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruslan Hans to make the kick off. Fery Oktavianus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Andi Akmal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, Fery Oktavianus dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andi Akmal, 1-2. Yahya Reza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Andi Akmal made a huge save. Ruslan Hans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boy Budikusuma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rochy Mulia in the 84th minute of play. Heri Hans hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Andi Akmal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uum Barus's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. When the final whistle sounded Airabit FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than PSP Gasings.
