Borneo Legacy's Iacob Coidum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yahya Hidayat in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, TOKYO REVENGERS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wahyu Dermawan to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute Aurelian Groza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernani Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernani Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelian Groza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernani Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Aubameyang in the 24th minute of the match. After 30 minutes, Wahyu Ramadhonna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TOKYO REVENGERS and the Borneo Legacy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Wahyu Ramadhonna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aurelian Groza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Borneo Legacy's attentive Kitam Sinuraya managed to snatch the ball when Davie McAy made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. In the 35th minute Charles De Ketelaere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernani Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dario Nazario made a kick off. Lucas Aubameyang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Remington Alves got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-2. 71 minutes into the match. Borneo Legacy's attentive Remington Alves managed to snatch the ball when Wahyu Dermawan made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. Hernani Alves made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Lucas Aubameyang sent off a good shot on target. Hernani Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles De Ketelaere in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute of the match Borneo Legacy got a corner. TOKYO REVENGERS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aurelian Groza ran over to the corner to take the kick. 81 minutes into the match, Charles De Ketelaere had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hernani Alves. TOKYO REVENGERS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charles De Ketelaere was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Hernani Alves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charles De Ketelaere in the 85th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Aubameyang got free with Hernani Alves in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, TOKYO REVENGERS's Yahya Hidayat got a free kick in the 89th minute. A collision led to TOKYO REVENGERS getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Joshua Wibowo hit a great ball. After 92 played minutes Borneo Legacy got a freekick which was hit by Remington Alves. In the 93rd minute of the match Wahyu Dermawan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iacob Coidum showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Borneo Legacy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
