Zeferino Veríssimo hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, April 16's goal looked a bit too open when Jakob Priyatno came free, but Vitan Srúndev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, April 16's Gio Moreno dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joko Wibowo was the one to do the kick off. Budi Hans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vitan Srúndev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joko Wibowo in the 57th minute. With an all-out effort, Api's Vitan Srúndev threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jakob Priyatno, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darius Sugendo came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by April 16's Gio Moreno. But to his dismay, Gio Moreno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to April 16 getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Hardy Budikusuma hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. April 16 fully deserved thier win.
