After 16 played minutes AFC Ajax got a freekick which was hit by 袁源珂. 余岚勇 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 贺鹏锋 having to interfere. After 21 played minutes AFC Ajax got a freekick which was hit by 袁源珂. In the 22nd minute, 庞烽博 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When 袁源珂 fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC Ajax's protests and gave 袁源珂 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, 袁源珂 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, 庞烽博 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 湖北武汉新狼骑兵联's supporters rose to their feet, but 庞烽博 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 彭桦旭 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 秦镇远 hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 彭桦旭 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 马昆晨 in the 38th minute of play. 湖北武汉新狼骑兵联's 贺鹏锋 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 余岚勇 in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
