The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Burnham on Crouch United's 김 왕 got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 박 지 in the 21st minute of play forced Burnham on Crouch United's goalkeeper Philippe Van Havent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When 김 빙 came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Incheon United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 김 빙 couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, 박 사공 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Incheon United's 김 빙 in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Burnham on Crouch United's goalie prevented a goal. Philippe Van Havent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 김 빙 in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Incheon United's Jo Sung sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Philippe Van Havent narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 34 minutes into the game, 김 옹 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Incheon United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burnham on Crouch United the free kick. A collision led to Incheon United getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. 김 옹 hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Burnham on Crouch United's 최 육 broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 김 옹 was shown his second yellow card after 36 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 37th minute, 김 옹 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the game, 박 사공 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Burnham on Crouch United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Incheon United the free kick. 박 지 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philippe Van Havent having to interfere. Philippe Van Havent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 김 빙, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when 김 빙 got free with Philippe Van Havent in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 김 빙 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd match minute, Burnham on Crouch United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 김 누 to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 강 고 during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Philippe Van Havent stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 김 빙's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 김 빙 in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Philippe Van Havent saved Burnham on Crouch United from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Incheon United's 김 빙 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Philippe Van Havent narrowly saved just below the crossbar. During the 72nd minute of the match 강 고 completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave 강 고 a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Incheon United booed when Burnham on Crouch United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. 강 고 didn't get a good kick on the ball. If 김 빙 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 박 지 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Incheon United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
