After 29 minutes, Bryan Fallen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grantow and the Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. Antony Virgin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sabastian Meyers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Owens, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Sabastian Meyers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 56th match minute, Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benson Conlin to maneuver through the defense. Boys's Alfred Owens got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Art Couzens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute Antony Virgin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabastian Meyers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jervis Beverly charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jervis Beverly the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 74 played minutes Boys got a freekick which was hit by Jervis Beverly. After having played for 85 minutes, Quincy Flesfadar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grantow's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quincy Flesfadar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boys's Antony Virgin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 90th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Quincy Flesfadar came free, but Barnett Whittington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quincy Flesfadar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Barnett Whittington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Boys's zone, Quincy Flesfadar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barnett Whittington came out of the goal and Quincy Flesfadar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
