Alford Fenwick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Earle Wirth, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Earle Wirth couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Blackham during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fed Tribe booed when Petford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Blackham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalwood Galvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordon Angell having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Oneill in the 38th minute of play forced Fed Tribe's goalkeeper Jordon Angell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jordon Angell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalwood Galvin, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dalwood Galvin to make the kick off. Fed Tribe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Phil Giles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, Adolfo Cridland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Phil Giles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute.
