Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Alvin Scalzo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the game, Dan Bromfield cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jarvis Oreilly was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jarvis Oreilly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvin Scalzo in the 10th minute of play. Carman Powderham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jarvis Oreilly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 minutes of play, Notting's Dan Bromfield made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarvis Oreilly was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes into the match, Oberne's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Scalzo came free, but Jarvis Oreilly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Notting's Samuel Tout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitchell Eversden in the 18th minute of play. Jarvis Oreilly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Bromfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 28th minute, Brockman Gaffigan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarvis Oreilly was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Dan Bromfield blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jarvis Oreilly having to make a save. Alvin Scalzo scored 0-4 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jarvis Oreilly, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute, Jordon Solomon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes Notting got a freekick which was hit by Dan Bromfield. After a rather tough play, Oberne's Hale Fitton got a free kick in the 47th minute. Jarvis Oreilly stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvin Scalzo's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Mitchell Eversden made the kick off in the second half. Mitchell Eversden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Notting getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Brockman Gaffigan hit a great ball. Samuel Tout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mitchell Eversden in the 59th minute of the match. Jarvis Oreilly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvin Scalzo in the 64th minute of the match. Mitchell Eversden struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Samuel Tout didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oberne. Samuel Tout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Riley in the 67th minute of the match. Mitchell Eversden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Mitchell Eversden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Tout was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 76th minute, Alvin Scalzo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jarvis Oreilly. The goal made the score 0-5. After some careless play in the Notting defense, Norman Cudmore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Tout. The Notting fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Tout should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute Alvin Scalzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarvis Oreilly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Riley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Tout having to interfere. The supporters of Oberne booed when Notting was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvin Scalzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Notting supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Notting would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
