Inter Wodonga's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Oberne's Jarvis Oreilly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Kinsey in the 5th minute of play. With a little luck, Oberne's Jarvis Oreilly got control of the ball when Alex Kinsey tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Oberne getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Hale Fitton hit a great ball. In the 13th minute of the match Bleyd Hamilton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jarvis Oreilly skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Riley in the 15th minute of play forced Inter Wodonga's goalkeeper Danny Devere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brennan Reynolds in the 19th minute of play forced Oberne's goalkeeper Jarvis Oreilly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th match minute, Inter Wodonga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Russel Pukallus to maneuver through the defense. Alex Kinsey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarvis Oreilly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 28th minute Brennan Reynolds shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarvis Oreilly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Russel Pukallus hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Mitchell Eversden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jarvis Oreilly didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmund Didlock went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Mitchell Eversden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarvis Oreilly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brennan Reynolds, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Jarvis Oreilly made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Alex Kinsey sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the game, Biggs Perandis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jarvis Oreilly was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alex Kinsey was the one to do the kick off. Jarvis Oreilly didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Kinsey went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Alex Kinsey took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarvis Oreilly. Jarvis Oreilly dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Jarvis Oreilly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brennan Reynolds in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Hale Fitton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Biggs Perandis hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitchell Eversden in the 69th minute of play forced Inter Wodonga's goalkeeper Danny Devere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danny Devere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mitchell Eversden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarvis Oreilly didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Kinsey went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Oberne defense, Alex Kinsey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarvis Oreilly. The Oberne fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarvis Oreilly should have stopped the shot. If Russel Pukallus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarvis Oreilly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Kinsey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Kinsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarvis Oreilly having to interfere. Jarvis Oreilly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brennan Reynolds, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute, Alex Kinsey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarvis Oreilly was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. After 95 minutes of play, Inter Wodonga's Brennan Reynolds made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarvis Oreilly was left in no man's land by his defense there!
