A collision led to Gunyah getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Richard Mosley hit a great ball. In the 16thth minute of the game Boyce Ambrose who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moyreisk's Crawford Fordham was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gunyah's Bruno Hemsley got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boyce Ambrose in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Crawford Fordham, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 27 minutes into the match, Moyreisk's goalkeeper Crawford Fordham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richard Mosley. When Gunyah's Boyce Ambrose in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Moyreisk's goalie prevented a goal. Crawford Fordham was a little too slow when Boyce Ambrose got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. Bruno Hemsley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Crawford Fordham having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, Moyreisk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stan Schoenke to maneuver through the defense. Allen Blestowe was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 48th minute, Bruno Hemsley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boyce Ambrose stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Bruno Hemsley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Crawford Fordham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Hemsley in the 56th minute of the match. Rodd Hanlen kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Allen Blestowe, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Boyce Ambrose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 63 minutes of play, Gunyah's Richard Mosley made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Crawford Fordham was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rodd Hanlen hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Durbridge got free with Jayden Clinton in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Bruno Durbridge came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Moyreisk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Durbridge couldn't finish the play. Bruno Hemsley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Crawford Fordham having to interfere. Moyreisk's Crawford Fordham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boyce Ambrose in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Gunyah booed when Moyreisk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darrell Hayward didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Gunyah's Allen Blestowe broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 95th minute, Kale Mckinnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gunyah had played much better football throughout.
