Spectators: 8465 (Terracing: 6379, Seating: 1956, VIP seats: 130) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ernest Tearle got the match started through his kick off. Hernani Sydney were furious when Darley Mcquoid was red carded, 3 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 3rd match minute, Hernani Sydney was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darley Mcquoid to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Hernani Sydney's Randell Warhurst got control of the ball when Bray Day tried to sneak it across the goal line. Randell Warhurst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benney Bowen in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Darren Limmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernest Tearle got free with Randell Warhurst in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute, Ernest Tearle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Randell Warhurst was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Randell Warhurst made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Bray Day sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the match, Hernani Sydney's goal looked a bit too open when Benney Bowen came free, but Randell Warhurst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Braedan Powley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hernani Sydney's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Swan Valley FC the free kick. Braedan Powley kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Hernani Sydney's Randell Warhurst proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Hernani Sydney from getting a goal against them. Sam Maybury sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darren Limmer's late challenge caught a Swan Valley FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darren Limmer helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd rose to their feet as Swan Valley FC's Ernest Tearle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Randell Warhurst. That made the score 3-0 after 32 minutes of play. In the 35th minute Ernest Tearle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Randell Warhurst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Ernest Tearle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Randell Warhurst was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Hernani Sydney's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Benney Bowen scored to the left of an out of position Randell Warhurst, making the score, 5-0. With a little luck, Hernani Sydney's Randell Warhurst got control of the ball when Bray Day tried to sneak it across the goal line. Clarke Reisz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Randell Warhurst came out and tried to block the shot, but Clarke Reisz slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Benney Bowen in the 57th minute of play forced Hernani Sydney's goalkeeper Randell Warhurst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Swan Valley FC's Clarke Reisz got a free kick in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Sam Maybury dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Victorino Aires, 6-1. A collision led to Hernani Sydney getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Darren Limmer hit a great ball. After 65 minutes, Kris Pincini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Swan Valley FC and the Hernani Sydney players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sam Maybury received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Victorino Aires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Swan Valley FC's Jonathan Tarrant got a free kick in the 67th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Hernani Sydney's goal looked a bit too open when Gregory Atkin came free, but Randell Warhurst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Benney Bowen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Randell Warhurst was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. The supporters of Swan Valley FC booed when Hernani Sydney was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caine Mcinnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernani Sydney's Randell Warhurst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Tearle in the 83rd minute of play. Randell Warhurst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benney Bowen in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute Benney Bowen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Randell Warhurst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Randell Warhurst didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benney Bowen went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. In the 90th minute, Sam Maybury fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 91 minutes into the game, Jonathan Tarrant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Swan Valley FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hernani Sydney the free kick. After 91 played minutes Swan Valley FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Tarrant. Randell Warhurst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Tearle in the 93rd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Hernani Sydney's goal looked a bit too open when Benney Bowen came free, but Randell Warhurst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Swan Valley FC had played much better football throughout.
