With an all-out effort, Ottaba FC's Randell Warhurst threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tiger Powderham, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Randell Warhurst made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andres Kreck in the 10th minute. The supporters of Ottaba FC booed when Hernani Sydney was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caine Mcinnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Randell Warhurst made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesse Voller in the 16th minute. Caine Mcinnes kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Tiger Powderham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Randell Warhurst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Randell Warhurst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesse Voller in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Hernani Sydney's goal looked a bit too open when Tiger Powderham came free, but Randell Warhurst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Andres Kreck came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Ottaba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Kreck couldn't finish the play. Randell Warhurst made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Bryant Batterham sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the game, Ottaba FC's Jesse Voller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Randell Warhurst made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Sam Maybury had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesse Voller in the 33rd minute of play forced Hernani Sydney's goalkeeper Randell Warhurst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Sam Maybury ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Berkeley Trevena was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Randell Warhurst made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andres Kreck in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Reginald Forrest hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Sam Maybury notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ottaba FC's Berkeley Trevena. Berkeley Trevena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Randell Warhurst made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Andres Kreck sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute Sam Maybury shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berkeley Trevena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Darren Limmer made a kick off. When Jesse Voller came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Ottaba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesse Voller couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute, Ottaba FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sam Maybury fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rolando Ayrton's late challenge caught a Ottaba FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolando Ayrton helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hernani Sydney getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Rolando Ayrton hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Jesse Voller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ottaba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesse Voller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Randell Warhurst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 60 minutes of play, Ottaba FC's Andres Kreck made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Randell Warhurst was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiger Powderham in the 66th minute of play forced Hernani Sydney's goalkeeper Randell Warhurst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Randell Warhurst stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andres Kreck's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Randell Warhurst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesse Voller, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 76th minute, Andres Kreck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ottaba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Berkeley Trevena made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Sam Maybury sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute, Jesse Voller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ottaba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Jesse Voller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Randell Warhurst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Andres Kreck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Randell Warhurst was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Kreck in the 95th minute of play forced Hernani Sydney's goalkeeper Randell Warhurst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Ottaba FC were the better team. Ottaba FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
