Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Berry Wittber took the kick off in the first half of the match. Oswald Verhaeghen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alford Rann in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Brock Mcgrath hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute Bryan Brotherton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswald Verhaeghen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Bryan Brotherton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Waaia's supporters rose to their feet, but Bryan Brotherton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oswald Verhaeghen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Waaia's Earle Rhoades got control of the ball when Ryan Tebby tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dalwood Tebby during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute of the match Heigo Koba shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Earle Rhoades showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alford Rann in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oswald Verhaeghen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, Bryan Brotherton made a precise shot to the right of Oswald Verhaeghen. Brookton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 31st minute Alford Rann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswald Verhaeghen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waaia's Earle Rhoades played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berry Wittber in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Ryan Tebby cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Earle Rhoades was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bryan Brotherton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Oswald Verhaeghen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Bryan Brotherton made the kick off in the second half. Oswald Verhaeghen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alford Rann in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Bryan Brotherton fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Oswald Verhaeghen, passed just outside the right post. Ryan Tebby kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, one of Waaia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Brookton a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Heigo Koba, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Waaia's Earle Rhoades. 2-1. Brookton's Oswald Verhaeghen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Brookton from getting a goal against them. Bryan Brothertons short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Oswald Verhaeghen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Oswald Verhaeghen made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Bryan Brotherton sent off a good shot on target. Oswald Verhaeghen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alford Rann, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Waaia's Bryan Brotherton came free and shot a quick shot against goal 97 minutes in the game, fortunately Oswald Verhaeghen had problems saving as it came toward the left post.
