Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Balgos's Best Cameron started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Bronzewing's goal looked a bit too open when Best Cameron came free, but Stewart Alcock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stewart Alcock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Best Cameron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Best Cameron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 31 minutes, Randell Rafferty managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bronzewing's supporters crossed their fingers, but Randell Rafferty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Randell Rafferty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Edwin Nunn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Best Cameron struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Stewart Alcock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balgos. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blade Brading stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Best Cameron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stewart Alcock was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After 53 played minutes Balgos got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Tebbit. Bock Babbage blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ed Mccarthy having to make a save. Stewart Alcock stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Best Cameron's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Stewart Alcock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Best Cameron in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 68thth minute of the game Carleton Sinden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bronzewing's Stewart Alcock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Blade Brading fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ed Mccarthy having to interfere. In the 73rdth minute of the game Best Cameron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bronzewing's Stewart Alcock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Larkin Connell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute Best Cameron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stewart Alcock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bronzewing's Stewart Alcock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Best Cameron in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of Balgos booed when Bronzewing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Randell Rafferty didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carleton Sinden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Alcock having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Balgos players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
