Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlisle Laughton started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Wallace getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Barry Brien hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Wallace defense, Alford Johnston kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keefer Richard. The Wallace fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keefer Richard should have stopped the shot. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wallace's goalkeeper Keefer Richard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th minute Gary were awarded a corner. Alford Johnston went to the cornerflag to take it. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wallace's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alford Johnston was slow to take the kick. During this time Gary's players had a chance to rest. Cullen Batterham came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Wallace's Blade Stanton. But to his dismay, Blade Stanton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Blade Stanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarrett Burton kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. When Alford Johnston came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Gary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alford Johnston couldn't finish the play. Cullen Batterham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthew Arkinstall in the 28th minute of the match. Cullen Batterham came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Wallace's Ringo Leydin. But to his dismay, Ringo Leydin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 36 minutes into the match, Blade Stanton notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Gary's Cullen Batterham. Cullen Batterham was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matthew Arkinstall hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute Ringo Leydin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cullen Batterham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrizio Schulzte got free with Keefer Richard in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cullen Batterham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthew Arkinstall in the 44th minute of the match. Wallace's Keefer Richard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnold Conlin in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blade Stanton to strike the kick off in the second half. Keefer Richard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrizio Schulzte in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Gary's goalkeeper Cullen Batterham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ringo Leydin. Keefer Richard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Tongs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ringo Leydin got free with Cullen Batterham in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute, Carlisle Laughton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keefer Richard was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. In the 73rd minute Matthew Arkinstall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cullen Batterham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Abraham Tongs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Keefer Richard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matthew Arkinstall got free with Cullen Batterham in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Keefer Richard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabrizio Schulzte went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-4 was the resulting score. Keefer Richard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlisle Laughton in the 92nd minute of play. Matthew Arkinstall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Cullen Batterham made a huge save. Wallace were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
