Spectators: 9224 (Terracing: 6919, Seating: 2122, VIP seats: 183) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Steven Chaptal took the kick off in the first half of the match. Edmonds Didlock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Corbett Alonso in the 3rd minute. Hellscream's Edmonds Didlock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Chaptal in the 4th minute of play. Edmonds Didlock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corbett Alonso in the 6th minute of the match. When Neal Weatherby fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elderslie Magpies's protests and gave Neal Weatherby a yellow card for diving instead. Hellscream's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Steven Chaptal scored to the left of an out of position Edmonds Didlock, making the score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Elderslie Magpies's Steven Chaptal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edmonds Didlock. That made the score 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. Dalwood Gillingwater kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Hellscream's goalkeeper Edmonds Didlock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steven Chaptal. Elderslie Magpies's Steven Chaptal was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 17th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Rick Souness could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Edmonds Didlock made a huge save. Rick Souness who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Edmonds Didlock when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 31st minute, Steven Chaptal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmonds Didlock was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 34 minutes into the game, Steven Chaptal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Edmonds Didlock was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Elderslie Magpies's Neal Weatherby slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edmonds Didlock. That made the score 6-0 after 38 minutes of play. Hellscream's Edmonds Didlock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Hellscream from getting a goal against them. Rick Souness received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edmonds Didlock came out and tried to block the shot, but Rick Souness slotted it home off the left post making it 7-0 in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

In the 53rd minute Steven Chaptal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmonds Didlock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Elderslie Magpies's Steven Chaptal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmonds Didlock made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 66th minute Rick Souness shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmonds Didlock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmonds Didlock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Souness in the 68th minute of the match. Burtt Brotherton hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Burtt Brotherton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmonds Didlock came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Elderslie Magpies's Rick Souness. But to his dismay, Rick Souness quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. 78 minutes into the match, Rick Souness notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Hellscream's Edmonds Didlock. Edmonds Didlock was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elderslie Magpies made a substitution. Arty Behla replaced Burns Muller. In the 88th minute, Neal Weatherby ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmonds Didlock was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. Neal Weatherby took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmonds Didlock. Edmonds Didlock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 14-0. In the 96th minute Rick Souness shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmonds Didlock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
