Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodrigo Rojas started the match with the kick off. Mateo Michael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azure Meadow in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético Nuevo Laredo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Robby The Rancher was slow to take the kick. During this time Clue Team Challenge 2024's players had a chance to rest. In the 9th minute, Azure Meadow ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateo Michael was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mateo Michael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Cordu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Roy Cordu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mateo Michael was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mateo Michael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azure Meadow, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Carolo Bernat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Azure Meadow blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mateo Michael having to make a save. The supporters of Clue Team Challenge 2024 booed when Atlético Nuevo Laredo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carolo Bernat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateo Michael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Whiskers McFish in the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Clue Team Challenge 2024's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Bernat came free, but O. M. G. DaRush reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guy Thorax took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mateo Michael. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 37th minute Azure Meadow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Michael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Azure Meadow's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mateo Michael was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Flavio Etxatxu's late challenge caught a Clue Team Challenge 2024's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Etxatxu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Flavio Etxatxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Azure Meadow notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Mateo Michael. Mateo Michael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Arty Eightman made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 62 in the game by Manny Mills from a close distance when the talented Mateo Michael managed to make a qualified save. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's players were relieved. In the 67th minute, Manny Mills got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arty Eightman in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Michael saved Atlético Nuevo Laredo from getting behind. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Mateo Michael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Nuevo Laredo from getting a goal against them. Mateo Michael was a little too slow when Azure Meadow got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-7. Clue Team Challenge 2024's Joaquin Fiat was substituted for Arty Eightman. 87 minutes into the match, Joaquin Fiat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateo Michael. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquin Fiat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Joaquin Fiat had several of the Atlético Nuevo Laredo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 89 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-10 score and a disappointed Mateo Michael as he didn't even see the shot coming. Joaquin Fiat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manny Mills in the 94th minute of play forced Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalkeeper Mateo Michael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96thth minute of the game Joaquin Fiat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Mateo Michael was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mateo Michael had great luck who in the 97thth minute grab hold of the ball when Joaquin Fiat from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Clue Team Challenge 2024 played a much better game than Atlético Nuevo Laredo and deserved their victory. The Atlético Nuevo Laredo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
