Azure Meadow might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carl Östlund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Azure Meadow ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azure Meadow in the 16th minute of play forced Guldhedstornet BK's goalkeeper Carl Östlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Goalzalez charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Goalzalez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Clue Team Challenge 2024 got a freekick which was hit by Diego Goalzalez. Carl Östlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Cordu, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Azure Meadow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Östlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Guldhedstornet BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesper Hermansson to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the game, Niclas Ekeroth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guldhedstornet BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clue Team Challenge 2024 the free kick. After 32 played minutes Guldhedstornet BK got a freekick which was hit by Niclas Ekeroth. Carl Östlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azure Meadow in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Azure Meadow left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clue Team Challenge 2024 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Carl Östlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Cordu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carl Östlund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arty Eightman went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 47 played minutes Guldhedstornet BK got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Gustavsson. Clue Team Challenge 2024's Manny Mills was substituted for Roy Cordu. Carl Östlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robby The Rancher, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arty Eightman was the one to do the kick off. Azure Meadow received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carl Östlund came out and tried to block the shot, but Azure Meadow slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 58th minute. Clue Team Challenge 2024 made a substitution. Snoop Fiddlefaddle replaced Diego Goalzalez. In the 68th minute, Arty Eightman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carl Östlund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Azure Meadow got free with Carl Östlund in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tobias Gustavsson charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Gustavsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carl Östlund came out and tried to block the shot, but Joaquin Fiat slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the game, Joaquin Fiat recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carl Östlund. Joaquin Fiat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Carl Östlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquin Fiat in the 97th minute. Clue Team Challenge 2024's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
