Aníbal Bittencourt came out and tried to block the shot, but Antônio Santos slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 90th minute. Jorginho Salles ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Jataiense Futebol Clube's corner Jorginho Salles fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and João Vítor Arósio quite easily take care of the ball. The ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
