In the 15th minute Brian Finnman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but O. M. G. DaRush saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arty Eightman in the 16th minute of play. Cris Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azure Meadow, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Azure Meadow managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clue Team Challenge 2024's supporters crossed their fingers, but Azure Meadow was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês Donato in the 27th minute of play forced Clue Team Challenge 2024's goalkeeper O. M. G. DaRush to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Léo Souto struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. O. M. G. DaRush didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wambalamba FC. Cris Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arty Eightman in the 32nd minute of play. Cris Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azure Meadow in the 33rd minute of play. The excitement rose when Clue Team Challenge 2024's Robby The Rancher after 48 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Huang Tian Yun to make the kick off. Cris Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arty Eightman in the 55th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Azure Meadow got free with Cris Courtois in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clue Team Challenge 2024's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Robby The Rancher in the 58th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper Cris Courtois had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arty Eightman. Cris Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arty Eightman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brian Finnman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without O. M. G. DaRush having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Finnman in the 74th minute of play forced Clue Team Challenge 2024's goalkeeper O. M. G. DaRush to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 minutes Clue Team Challenge 2024's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Brian Finnman who took care of the corner kick. Rolf Pilgren was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Clue Team Challenge 2024's O. M. G. DaRush played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juarês Donato in the 82nd minute of play. Clue Team Challenge 2024's O. M. G. Cris Courtois made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Azure Meadow sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Clue Team Challenge 2024 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Wambalamba FC.
