The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Crew's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Fava came free, but Patrick Armstrong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leeds United's 宋辉星 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Våleman in the 6th minute of play. Adriano Contratas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Armstrong having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Leeds United's Fabio Fava nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrick Armstrong made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 李镇庭 scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Armstrong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Leeds United booed when ManagerZone Crew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anderson Schulle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrick Armstrong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Contratas in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, ManagerZone Crew's Adrian Våleman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adriano Contratas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Linkhorst in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 宋辉星 saved Leeds United from getting behind. Robert Ununger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The tension between the Leeds United and the ManagerZone Crew players grew even worse after the yellow card.
