With an extended leg and a bit of luck Galo Caroll prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 25 played minutes Samsun JK got a freekick which was hit by Besim Başdoğan. Erdem Taştan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porfiro Idiaquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Tartalo Lecuona hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 28 minutes of play, Samsun JK's Bumin Aytolun made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zulia Caracas F.C.'s Galo Caroll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korcan Çinucen in the 58th minute of play. Zulia Caracas F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gencalp Saik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Galo Caroll was a little too slow when Bumin Aytolun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 0-9. When the final whistle sounded Samsun JK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Zulia Caracas F.C..
