Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lopez Arrillaga in the 36th minute of play. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Pankracy Glogowski as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 44 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Emil Chwalkiewicz. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lopez Arrillaga to make the kick off.
