The audience thought a goal was coming when Efraim Morais got free with Evandro Paulista in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Federico Ramone to make the kick off. Jerome Rohrer might have been able to make a better finish in the 50th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evandro Paulista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerome Rohrer ran back to his position shaking his head. Agostinho Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Evandro Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efraim Morais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, A A Arizona's goal looked a bit too open when Dominic Cappelsmans came free, but Evandro Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerome Rohrer couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the match, A A Arizona's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Lenzi came free, but Evandro Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Jovens Democratas MZC fully deserved thier win.
