Bento Paranaense made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Adrian Mutu sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th minute, Richard Rodrigues Da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Rodrigues Da Silva made in the 15th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cacá Favoretto however managed to control. In the 19th minute Braga Junior FC were awarded a corner. Cristiano Håland went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Figueirense - FSCMZ's Tony Hazard got a free kick in the 20th minute. Adrian Mutu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 22nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 27 minutes into the match, Figueirense - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Bento Paranaense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Mutu. Adrian Mutu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bento Paranaense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 39th minute, one of Figueirense - FSCMZ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Figueirense - FSCMZ. The referee gave Braga Junior FC a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cristiano Håland, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Figueirense - FSCMZ's Bento Paranaense. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Braga Junior FC's Enginalp Kayaalp got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute Richard Rodrigues Da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaizka Mendieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvis Vilks to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvis Vilks got free with Gaizka Mendieta in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaizka Mendieta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cacá Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Breno Moraes hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Adrian Mutu struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Bento Paranaense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Braga Junior FC. Thanks to some nice moves Silvis Vilks could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Gaizka Mendieta however easily saved by the left post. In the 61st minute, Cido Araújo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bento Paranaense was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Figueirense - FSCMZ's Bento Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Mutu in the 67th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Cido Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Braga Junior FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cido Araújo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bento Paranaense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the match, Braga Junior FC's goalkeeper Gaizka Mendieta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvis Vilks. In the 83rd minute of the match Silvis Vilks shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaizka Mendieta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Figueirense - FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristiano Håland was slow to take the kick. During this time Braga Junior FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Cido Araújo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bento Paranaense quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cristiano Håland made a great header on Braga Junior FC's corner, it was just that Figueirense - FSCMZ's Bento Paranaense managed to reach the ball for a save.
