Rigoberto Martxelin made in the 4th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cavaliers FC's Efrain Villegas. 12 minutes into the match, Fashions del Averno's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Villegas came free, but Gianluca Kán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Marcelo Chuan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fashions del Averno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Fashions del Averno booed when Cavaliers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Iratxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Marcelo Chuan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fashions del Averno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Chuan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Fashions del Averno booed when Cavaliers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Villegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fashions del Averno's Marcelo Chuan got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cornelio Villegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Chuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Chuan in the 39th minute of play forced Cavaliers FC's goalkeeper Cornelio Villegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fashions del Averno's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Francesco Abbagnale in the 40th minute. After taking down the ball on Fashions del Averno's corner Tomasz Hoffman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cornelio Villegas quite easily take care of the ball. In the 45th minute Marcelo Chuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Villegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Cavaliers FC's Cornelio Villegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Chuan in the 51st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Chuan got free with Cornelio Villegas in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcelo Chuan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cornelio Villegas. That made the score 1-4 in the 91 minute of play. Fashions del Averno made a substitution. Timmy Siggman replaced Marcelo Chuan. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fashions del Averno eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
