Alonzo Cristofol started the match with the kick off. Leonardo Tipi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sonny Corleone having to make a save. Sonny Corleone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Tipi in the 6th minute of the match. When Gonzalo Corderro fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hermosillo FC's protests and gave Gonzalo Corderro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hermosillo FC's Gonzalo Corderro got a free kick in the 8th minute. Leonardo Tipi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Sonny Corleone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Tipi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sonny Corleone came out and tried to block the shot, but Leonardo Tipi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. In the 18th match minute, Les Tigres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Samih to maneuver through the defense. Lin Yan Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Cristofol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Tipi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Sonny Corleone made a huge save. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hermosillo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luboš Štencl was slow to take the kick. During this time Les Tigres's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Ahmet Samih heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Lin Yan Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Cristofol in the 27th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Alonzo Cristofol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hermosillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonzo Cristofol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lin Yan Hong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Les Tigres's Lin Yan Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Cristofol in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Les Tigres's Rodolfo Luken was substituted for Silvano Ihazintu. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonardo Tipi to strike the kick off in the second half. Edvard Võsandi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Alonzo Cristofol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hermosillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonzo Cristofol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 57thth minute of the game Edvard Võsandi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hermosillo FC's Sonny Corleone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Võsandi in the 59th minute of play forced Hermosillo FC's goalkeeper Sonny Corleone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sonny Corleone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Võsandi in the 59th minute of play. Tomasz Jajko kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Alejandro Lope hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Les Tigres made a substitution. Paolo Ereinotz replaced Leonardo Tipi. Alejandro Lope hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the game, Luboš Štencl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Sonny Corleone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sonny Corleone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Võsandi in the 70th minute of the match. Les Tigres's Lin Yan Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Cristofol in the 72nd minute of play. Sonny Corleone came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Les Tigres's Paolo Ereinotz. But to his dismay, Paolo Ereinotz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Edvard Võsandi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sonny Corleone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Paolo Ereinotz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 90 minutes Hermosillo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luboš Štencl who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Les Tigres booed when Hermosillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Fraco didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Les Tigres fully deserved thier win.
