Edgard Magdaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baron Buffon having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Alex Doe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tequileros FC the free kick. The supporters of Tequileros FC booed when Los Muñes de Don Cuco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Doe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baron Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgard Lécuyer in the 18th minute. Tequileros FC's Tanek Olchawa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alex Doe, made in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 23rd minute, Everardo Dei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Tanek Olchawa sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Baron Buffon threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Tanek Olchawa this time. Edgard Lécuyer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Baron Buffon made a huge save. 28 minutes into the match, Edgard Lécuyer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Baron Buffon, 1-0. 35 minutes into the match, Tequileros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nuralp Başdemir came free, but Luisito Sadurni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Muñes de Don Cuco were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Tequileros FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guaberto Jacindo took the corner. Guaberto Jacindo made a great header on Los Muñes de Don Cuco's corner, it was just that Tequileros FC's Luisito Sadurni managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgard Magdaleno in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baron Buffon saved Los Muñes de Don Cuco from getting behind. 47 minutes into the match, Nuralp Başdemir notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tequileros FC's Luisito Sadurni. Luisito Sadurni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgard Lécuyer to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Han Yue Hong was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tequileros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Muñes de Don Cuco the free kick. After 53 played minutes Tequileros FC got a freekick which was hit by Han Yue Hong. Aureliano Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Ramon Pero was substituted for Peyami Hasanbeyli. 61 minutes into the game, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Rien Oss nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luisito Sadurni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 65 minutes into the match, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Rien Oss sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luisito Sadurni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 72 minutes, Rien Oss managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rien Oss was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 75 played minutes Tequileros FC got a freekick which was hit by Celsinho de Queiroz. In the 76th minute, Bradley Barrett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A sloppy throw-in by Alex Doe in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tequileros FC's Tanek Olchawa. In the 85th minute, Rien Oss fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Luisito Sadurni, passed just outside the right post. Dionisio Sotero made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Bradley Barrett. Luisito Sadurni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rien Oss, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Rien Oss managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's supporters rose to their feet, but Rien Oss was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Sadurni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Tequileros FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Los Muñes de Don Cuco's performance. The match ended with a win for Los Muñes de Don Cuco.
