In the 3rd match minute, BARBARIDADE G.M. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanni Trancoso to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anísio Koehler got free with De-la-Cruz de Alcântara in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara was a little too slow when Anísio Koehler got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. With his leg De-la-Cruz de Alcântara managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when CE LAJEADENSE RS's Aloísio Donato fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adam Doykin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fábio Velasco in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute BARBARIDADE G.M. were awarded a corner. Luiz Fábio Velasco went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Adam Doykin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, BARBARIDADE G.M.'s De-la-Cruz de Alcântara got control of the ball when Anísio Koehler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Fábio Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Adam Doykin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Alexander Hedin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Doykin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jhon Arias hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. With his leg De-la-Cruz de Alcântara managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when CE LAJEADENSE RS's Anísio Koehler fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Rodrigo Ely got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Luiz Fábio Velasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BARBARIDADE G.M. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexander Hedin made a kick off. With a little luck, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Adam Doykin got control of the ball when Jerônimo Moreno tried to sneak it across the goal line. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anísio Koehler in the 54th minute of play. Adam Doykin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. With a little luck, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Adam Doykin got control of the ball when Jerônimo Moreno tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind BARBARIDADE G.M.'s goalkeeper De-la-Cruz de Alcântara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. De-la-Cruz de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Gildo Cearense got away a dangerous shot. Despite this De-la-Cruz de Alcântara quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Hedin in the 82nd minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Adam Doykin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute of the match BARBARIDADE G.M. got a corner. CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luiz Fábio Velasco ran over to the corner to take the kick. BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Ribamar Orange was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adam Doykin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Adam Doykin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Hedin, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Jerônimo Moreno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adam Doykin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, BARBARIDADE G.M.'s goal looked a bit too open when Anísio Koehler came free, but De-la-Cruz de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
