The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Markus Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Layton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Roberto Layton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Svensson in the 5th minute of play. With a little luck, Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist got control of the ball when Augustin Amurăriței tried to sneak it across the goal line. Georg Termander hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the game, Markus Svensson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Roberto Layton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Markus Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 22 minutes into the game, Laurence Suggs threw the ball into play from the sideline. Golden Lions FC's Joschi Hook quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Laurence Suggs managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Igor Dzierwa in the 29 minute of the game. In the 29th minute, Igor Dzierwa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Augustin Amurăriței had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augustin Amurăriței. Roberto Layton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Svensson in the 33rd minute of play. Augustin Amurăriței's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anders Lundqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Markus Svensson scored 0-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roberto Layton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augustin Amurăriței made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Markus Svensson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Roberto Layton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roberto Layton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Svensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Augustin Amurăriței fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s protests and gave Augustin Amurăriței a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Augustin Amurăriței got a free kick in the 69th minute. Golden Lions FC's Leo Strömbom was substituted for Georg Termander. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Jamar Eldridge was substituted for Alan Petersen. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ made a substitution. Quentin Holman replaced Ignacio Quiroga. After a rather tough play, ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Augustin Amurăriței got a free kick in the 71st minute. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Randall Burton put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Anders Lundqvist. Golden Lions FC's Burç Tokhan was substituted for Markus Svensson. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Burç Tokhan took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Roberto Layton to make any attempt to save it. Roberto Layton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burç Tokhan in the 88th minute of play. Roberto Layton didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. In the 93rd match minute, ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tymoteusz Barowicz to maneuver through the defense.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Golden Lions FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
