Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emmanuel Cimbron kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute, Florentino Felo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Formentera's Ladislao Romano got control of the ball when Emmanuel Cimbron tried to sneak it across the goal line. Formentera's Ladislao Romano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gipuzkoa Gante in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Vanadio F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Nicholas came free, but Frutos Cubas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emmanuel Cimbron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Romano having to interfere. Frutos Cubas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Nicholas in the 22nd minute of the match. Isaac Landeribar's late challenge caught a Formentera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Landeribar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Isaac Landeribar hit a great ball. After 37 played minutes Vanadio F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gipuzkoa Gante. Frutos Cubas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Nicholas in the 39th minute of play. Ladislao Romano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Formentera's goalkeeper Ladislao Romano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emmanuel Cimbron. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santo Illan was the one to do the kick off. Ladislao Romano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emmanuel Cimbron's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. When Hector Ferman fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Formentera's protests and gave Hector Ferman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Ferman to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Cimbron came free, but Ladislao Romano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Emmanuel Cimbron notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Formentera's Ladislao Romano. Ladislao Romano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Florentino Felo fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Formentera's protests and gave Florentino Felo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Formentera getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Florentino Felo hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, Narciso Vaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vanadio F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Formentera the free kick. A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Narciso Vaz hit a great ball. Ladislao Romano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Vaz in the 69th minute of play. When Vanadio F.C.'s Emmanuel Cimbron in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Formentera's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gualterio Bidun during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gualterio Bidun hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Ladislao Romano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emmanuel Cimbron in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Honrio Izarra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Vaz came free, but Ladislao Romano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes Vanadio F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Cimbron. David Campomanes hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Bernabe Manny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuel Cimbron in the 96th minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Ladislao Romano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
Vanadio F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Formentera for a fine match.
