An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo Leme in the 13th minute of play forced Club Ibiza's goalkeeper Rene Higuita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 minutes, Jose-Antonio Capon made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Excelência de Luxe's Aurel Mușetescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Club Ibiza's Bruno Fonso in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Ibiza had won after a very even match.
