Winter was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Honorio Hori in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. ◇Mz.Dream◆Spotlight FC's Tony Githinji Muhoho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Mundo in the 36th minute of play. In the 36th play minute Marciano Mundo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tony Githinji Muhoho. 1-0. Honorio Hori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mete Tavukcu in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to Stellenbosch getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Prudencio Matro hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, ◇Mz.Dream◆Spotlight FC's Fathi Yu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorio Hori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stellenbosch made a substitution. Gregorio Gelmiro replaced Prudencio Matro. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mete Tavukcu was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Mete Tavukcu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Honorio Hori. That made the score 1-1 in the 54 minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Stellenbosch's goal looked a bit too open when Fathi Yu came free, but Honorio Hori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stellenbosch's Honorio Hori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Stellenbosch from getting a goal against them. In the 66thth minute of the game Fathi Yu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stellenbosch's Honorio Hori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Honorio Hori successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Stellenbosch fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Stellenbosch's Teobaldo Isias looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stellenbosch's Melchor Tome was substituted for Gerardo Beltran. 82 minutes into the match, Stellenbosch's goalkeeper Honorio Hori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fathi Yu. After 85 minutes, Desiderio Hegoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stellenbosch and the ◇Mz.Dream◆Spotlight FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Desiderio Hegoi kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Godofredo Lucian hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Fathi Yu notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Stellenbosch's Honorio Hori. Honorio Hori was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
