Claudinho Terra succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 45th playminute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudinho Terra made a kick off. After 50 minutes, Hugo Favoretto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New Joinville - FSCMZ and the Internet XAire players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Hugo Favoretto got a free kick in the 50th minute. Marco Sergi took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Gustavson. Marco Sergi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd match minute, Internet XAire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Sergi to maneuver through the defense. Saul Martxel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 68 played minutes Internet XAire got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Faro. Hugo Favoretto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saul Martxel. Internet XAire's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of New Joinville - FSCMZ booed when Internet XAire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Selatse didn't get a good kick on the ball. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Geovânio Viana was substituted for Amauri Romero. Benedicto Selatse hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Hugo Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Internet XAire players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented New Joinville - FSCMZ from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
