The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ethan Zamora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Medeiros having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marty Hill got free with Marcelo Medeiros in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th minute, Heavenly Hooters's Ethan Zamora dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Marcelo Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shawn Banks, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Barry Lowe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo Medeiros having to make a save. In the 17th minute, Marty Hill left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heavenly Hooters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Gwyn Bridgeman hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Alexsandro Carioca hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Heavenly Hooters's Ethan Zamora shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marcelo Medeiros but with some difficulty. After 26 minutes of play, Heavenly Hooters's Marty Hill made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 29 played minutes Figueira SC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Alexsandro Carioca. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shawn Banks in the 31st minute of play forced Figueira SC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Marcelo Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Heavenly Hooters's Barry Lowe got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Heavenly Hooters booed when Figueira SC FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shawn Banks struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Marcelo Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heavenly Hooters. The supporters of Figueira SC FSCMZ booed when Heavenly Hooters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barry Lowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dean Hurst during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 played minutes Heavenly Hooters got a freekick which was hit by Dean Hurst. After some careless play in the Figueira SC FSCMZ defense, Marty Hill kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Medeiros. The Figueira SC FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Medeiros should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

In the 56th minute Marty Hill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shawn Banks, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 58th match minute, Figueira SC FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. Heavenly Hooters's Max Langford was substituted for Shawn Banks. After 60 played minutes Figueira SC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Maranhense. After 61 played minutes, Heavenly Hooters's Ethan Zamora shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcelo Medeiros came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Heavenly Hooters reached it. When Barry Lowe came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Heavenly Hooters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barry Lowe couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Max Langford left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heavenly Hooters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Marcelo Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ethan Zamora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 played minutes Figueira SC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Pena. Sandrinho Pena hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marty Hill in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelo Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marty Hill, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marty Hill in the 80th minute of play forced Figueira SC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Marcelo Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gwyn Bridgeman came free, but Marcelo Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Heavenly Hooters getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Barry Lowe hit a great ball. Marcelo Medeiros came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Heavenly Hooters's Max Langford. But to his dismay, Max Langford quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. 92 minutes into the game, Marty Hill cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Marcelo Medeiros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Barry Lowe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Medeiros having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Heavenly Hooters players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
