Glentown FC's Olov Ahlquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Glentown FC from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Åke Granberg was the one to do the kick off. Jonatan Aspvik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Leonardo Jara made a huge save. 56 minutes into the game, Bennis's Cai Cheng Sang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olov Ahlquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Cai Cheng Sang sped through Glentown FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olov Ahlquist. Bennis's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Jonatan Aspvik scored to the left of an out of position Leonardo Jara, making the score, 5-2. 70 minutes into the game, Bennis's Cai Cheng Sang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olov Ahlquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. Krister Wästerberg hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Glentown FC's Jesper Cane was substituted for Jonatan Aspvik. Bennis made a substitution. Roy Vesterberg replaced Aloísio Senna. Bennis's Pål Uggstedt was substituted for Cai Cheng Sang. Olov Ahlquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-2. In the 95th minute Jesper Cane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Jara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bennis's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
