In the 2nd minute, Omar Asad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 5 played minutes PINGO PINGO got a freekick which was hit by Javier Mascherano. Ghenadie Furdui kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, PINGO PINGO's Alvaro Micarelli tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lisandro Gutierrez kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernt Jønsson during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Palmeiras's Bernt Jønsson got a free kick in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Ruben Bidun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pegoraro Da Messina. Palmeiras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruben Bidun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 29 played minutes Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Davi Rosado. Pegoraro Da Messina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Micarelli in the 30th minute of play. Wesley Fantini struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Raul Isias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmeiras. A collision led to PINGO PINGO getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Federico Frankenhaeuser hit a great ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind PINGO PINGO's goalkeeper Raul Isias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonardo Donato hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Pegoraro Da Messina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Micarelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Isias having to interfere. Federico Frankenhaeuser kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Tomé Bittencourt hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernt Jønsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Bernt Jønsson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. In the 66th match minute, Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Jønsson to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Asad came free, but Pegoraro Da Messina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pegoraro Da Messina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Micarelli in the 69th minute of play. Raul Isias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Fantini in the 71st minute of the match. Raul Isias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute Wesley Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Isias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute of the match Palmeiras got a corner. PINGO PINGO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfredão França ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Alfredão França almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PINGO PINGO's Raul Isias did a great save. After 82 minutes of play, PINGO PINGO's Omar Asad made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pegoraro Da Messina was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pegoraro Da Messina came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by PINGO PINGO's Ruben Bidun. But to his dismay, Ruben Bidun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When Ruben Bidun came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the PINGO PINGO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Bidun couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Fantini in the 92nd minute of play forced PINGO PINGO's goalkeeper Raul Isias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Palmeiras booed when PINGO PINGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Gutierrez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, PINGO PINGO's Lisandro Gutierrez got a free kick in the 94th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Alfredão França managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmeiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredão França was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Isias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
