Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Challacó's Benedicto Quirze started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Benedicto Quirze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casimiro Hechter's late challenge caught a Challacó's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casimiro Hechter helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes Gladiators got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Hechter. When Challacó's Benedicto Quirze in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gladiators's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Challacó booed when Gladiators was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Hechter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florencio Mouricio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Benedicto Quirze dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aquilino Osmundo, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Gladiators's zone, Benedicto Quirze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquilino Osmundo came out of the goal and Benedicto Quirze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Aquilino Osmundo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 36 minutes into the game, Benedicto Quirze recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aquilino Osmundo. Benedicto Quirze showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Casimiro Hechter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Christian Oihan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Benedicto Quirze managed to get in a good position for a shot. Challacó's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Quirze was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquilino Osmundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfonso Quilo made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Artemio Aguilera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Osmundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gladiators's David Oliviero got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Guido Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the game, one of Gladiators:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aquilino Osmundo had in the 58thth minute some difficulties stopping Benedicto Quirze's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Alfonso Quilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Oihan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Cesaro in the 65th minute of play forced Gladiators's goalkeeper Aquilino Osmundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquilino Osmundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Mouricio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Quirze in the 68th minute of play forced Gladiators's goalkeeper Aquilino Osmundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Medardo lost his temper 70 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Challacó. Benedicto Quirze stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aquilino Osmundo. 4-0. Florencio Mouricio struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Aquilino Osmundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Challacó. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Benedicto Quirze managed to get in a good position for a shot. Challacó's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Quirze was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquilino Osmundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Gladiators defense, Benedicto Quirze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquilino Osmundo. The Gladiators fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquilino Osmundo should have stopped the shot. After having played for 88 minutes, Benedicto Quirze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Challacó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Quirze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Challacó fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gladiators had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
