The goal made the score 2-0. Xiboquinha FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olavo Moreno in the 18th minute. Olavo Moreno made a great header on Xiboquinha FC's corner, it was just that C.A. Calamuchita's Jorge Dimas managed to reach the ball for a save. If Caetano Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiquinho Soares hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. Calamuchita's goalkeeper Jorge Dimas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Júlio Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Ekaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Jorge Dimas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caetano Simões's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. If Caetano Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Xiboquinha FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiquinho Soares to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Xiboquinha FC's Caetano Simões nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorge Dimas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Jorge Dimas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Simões in the 59th minute of play. The Xiboquinha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Jorge Dimas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Simões in the 85th minute of the match. After 86 minutes of play, Xiboquinha FC's Caetano Simões made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Dimas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Júlio Linares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Froilan Endira in the 89th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Desiderio Monico in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Xiboquinha FC's Eliézer Alvarenga. 94 minutes into the match, C.A. Calamuchita's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Simões came free, but Jorge Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Caetano Simões made a precise shot to the right of Jorge Dimas. C.A. Calamuchita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. Xiboquinha FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
