When Gregor Rühmann fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FV Wienerwald's protests and gave Gregor Rühmann a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FV Wienerwald getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Gregor Rühmann hit a great ball. The FV Wienerwald fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when FV Wienerwald's Waldemar Giesen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Andre-Yann Kahofer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Normando Travassos hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Waldemar Giesen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Armando Rios when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, FV Wienerwald's Philipp Haberer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Rios narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute Philipp Haberer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Rios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Heitor Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Rios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steffen Jeneks in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Insel in the 43rd minute of play forced AM United's goalkeeper Armando Rios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to AM United getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Germano Rocha hit a great ball. Armando Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andre-Yann Kahofer in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Germano Rocha to strike the kick off in the second half. If Jan-André Dospel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Rios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andre-Yann Kahofer in the 59th minute of the match. Germano Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Germano Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes AM United got a freekick which was hit by Germano Rocha. Waldemar Giesen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Andre-Yann Kahofer made a precise shot to the right of Armando Rios. AM United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. FV Wienerwald's Daniel Strack was substituted for Joachim Schlagbauer. In the 76th match minute, AM United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Normando Travassos to maneuver through the defense. Robin-Pascal Rohrschneider was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waldemar Giesen in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Rios saved AM United from getting behind. Armando Rios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Giesen in the 83rd minute of the match. Philipp Haberer hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Armando Rios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin-Pascal Rohrschneider, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Hartmut Wannemacher struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Armando Rios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FV Wienerwald. Armando Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Giesen in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the AM United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FV Wienerwald.
