Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Lamberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Pink Floyd were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Club Atlético Atlanta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafael Lamberto took the corner. After taking down the ball on Pink Floyd's corner Rafael Lamberto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pankracy Glogowski quite easily take care of the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atlético Atlanta reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anselmo Nevada in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Cutberto saved Pink Floyd from getting behind. Humberto Cutberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Berdoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Rafael Lamberto notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski. Pankracy Glogowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pink Floyd's Humberto Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şevket Çağa in the 28th minute of play. After 29 minutes of play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Anselmo Nevada made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Humberto Cutberto was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Pink Floyd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Waters didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Şevket Çağa made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Cutberto. Pink Floyd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Humberto Cutberto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. In the 73rd minute, Club Atlético Atlanta's Anselmo Nevada ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Humberto Cutberto. Humberto Cutberto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Edgard Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Humberto Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Humberto Cutberto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Humberto Cutberto was a little too slow when Şevket Çağa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-6. Humberto Cutberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Nevada, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Humberto Cutberto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Şevket Çağa went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Lamberto in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Cipriano Calvet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pink Floyd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Atlanta the free kick.
