The throw-in from Bartosz Erland in the 2nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fashions del Averno's Tomasz Hoffman. 9 minutes into the match, Fashions del Averno's goal looked a bit too open when Julien-Nils Trede came free, but Gianluca Kán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Poli Timisoara's Ovidiu Adrian got control of the ball when Timmy Siggman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Timmy Siggman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ovidiu Adrian came out and tried to block the shot, but Timmy Siggman slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. In the 22nd minute Tomasz Hoffman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Adrian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gianluca Kán showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Primeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Poli Timisoara's Julien-Nils Trede in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Fashions del Averno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julien-Nils Trede was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The supporters of Fashions del Averno booed when Poli Timisoara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidiu Bal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Philip Goorts lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 47 played minutes Fashions del Averno got a freekick which was hit by Philip Goorts. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 54 played minutes Poli Timisoara got a freekick which was hit by Sascha Kulovitz. 57 minutes into the game, Poli Timisoara's Mauro Primeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gianluca Kán made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 63rd minute, Julien-Nils Trede ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gianluca Kán was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. When Ntinos Trachanas fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fashions del Averno's protests and gave Ntinos Trachanas a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes Fashions del Averno got a freekick which was hit by Ntinos Trachanas. Rigoberto Martxelin kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Julien-Nils Trede shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluca Kán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fashions del Averno's Gianluca Kán proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Fashions del Averno from getting a goal against them. Fashions del Averno's Gianluca Kán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julien-Nils Trede in the 74th minute of play. Fashions del Averno made a substitution. Marcelo Chuan replaced Timmy Siggman. The throw-in from Bartosz Erland in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fashions del Averno's Konstanty Pilarski. Marcelo Chuan struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Ovidiu Adrian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fashions del Averno. Gianluca Kán made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Mauro Primeiro sent off a good shot on target. Julien-Nils Trede fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluca Kán having to interfere. The throw-in from Rigoberto Martxelin in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Poli Timisoara's Sascha Kulovitz. Ntinos Trachanas hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Horst-Peter Unterberger was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
