The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chacaboke Juniors's Manuel Sendoa pulled a muscle in his back after 3 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When German Isias fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s protests and gave German Isias a yellow card for diving instead. Chacaboke Juniors's Jesus Hermon was substituted for Manuel Sendoa. In the 4th minute, German Isias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 minutes of play, Chacaboke Juniors's Claudio Maties made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Basajaun was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 10th minute, Hector Faro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chacaboke Juniors's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Teofilo Maidana 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. In the 18th minute of the match Chacaboke Juniors got a corner. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Claudio Maties ran over to the corner to take the kick. Chacaboke Juniors's Claudio Maties was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Armando Basajaun in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Chacaboke Juniors getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. José Beloki hit a great ball. Claudio Maties blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Basajaun having to make a save. Armando Basajaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Maties in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Teofilo Maidana dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pablo Vedillo, 2-1. Benito Gentiletti hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Claudio Maties ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Basajaun was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 39th minute, Benito Gentiletti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pablo Vedillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Maidana, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Pablo Vedillo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Maidana in the 42nd minute of play forced Chacaboke Juniors's goalkeeper Pablo Vedillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Teofilo Maidana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esteban Maxin to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Martin Belezhkov got a free kick in the 50th minute. The audience was convinced that Esteban Maxin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Basajaun was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Maidana in the 57th minute of play forced Chacaboke Juniors's goalkeeper Pablo Vedillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Armando Basajaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Maties in the 72nd minute of play. Urbano Veremundo kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th match minute, Chacaboke Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Veremundo to maneuver through the defense. When Oso Ted came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Cartero de Agronomia F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oso Ted couldn't finish the play. Pablo Vedillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oso Ted in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oso Ted in the 81st minute of play forced Chacaboke Juniors's goalkeeper Pablo Vedillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Oso Ted notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Chacaboke Juniors's Pablo Vedillo. Pablo Vedillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Cartero de Agronomia F.C. were the better team. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
