Kazimierz Kazanowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maciej Ruzicki in the 18th minute of the match. Maciej Ruzicki scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kazimierz Kazanowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Armando Maradona in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kazimierz Kazanowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilbert Joks during the 26th minute. Sonic Supereko might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wawrzyniec Raschke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. SS SuperSonics's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sonic Supereko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as SS SuperSonics's Anton Rosen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wawrzyniec Raschke. That made the score 2-1 after 46 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anton Rosen made a kick off. If Sonic Supereko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilbert Joks got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.
