Bornova's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Ivan Ponce scored to the left of an out of position Ali Asım Akmeşe, making the score, 1-0. Ali Asım Akmeşe didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Bornova's Ali Asım Akmeşe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Ponce in the 13th minute of play. Guaberto Calisto had several of the Bornova's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 14 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Ali Asım Akmeşe as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ali Asım Akmeşe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Ponce, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. A collision led to Bornova getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Sergen Tanaltay hit a great ball. Bornova's Ali Asım Akmeşe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Bornova from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Seyfi Kayıhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bornova's supporters rose to their feet, but Seyfi Kayıhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Erlantz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Bornova's Mustafa Anıl Ruknettin got a free kick in the 26th minute. Pedro Naike came free in the 27th minute and tried to tip the ball over Ali Asım Akmeşe, but to the joy of Bornova's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. After a rather tough play, Charmander City's Zacarias Escobar got a free kick in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Guaberto Calisto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ali Asım Akmeşe. Bornova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guaberto Calisto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. If Ivan Ponce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorio Dolcet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Ali Asım Akmeşe made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Ali Asım Akmeşe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 50 minutes, Ivan Ponce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charmander City and the Bornova players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Charmander City getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Ivan Ponce hit a great ball. In the last second Alberto Erlantz throw himself and got hold of the ball when Şeref Onatkan in the 52ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Charmander City's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ahmet Göktuğ Taşel was slow to take the kick. During this time Bornova's players had a chance to rest. 62 minutes into the game, Gregorio Dolcet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Ali Asım Akmeşe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Charmander City made a substitution. Benito Papo replaced Ubaldo Benitez. A collision led to Charmander City getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ivan Ponce hit a great ball. After 71 minutes, Mustafa Anıl Ruknettin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bornova and the Charmander City players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Cloyo in the 74th minute of play forced Bornova's goalkeeper Ali Asım Akmeşe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Asım Akmeşe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Calisto in the 78th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Celestino Txerran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Charmander City's Alberto Cloyo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Asım Akmeşe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute Guaberto Calisto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Asım Akmeşe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Asım Akmeşe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Calisto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Gregorio Dolcet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ali Asım Akmeşe. Bornova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregorio Dolcet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. When the referee ended the match the Charmander City players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
